Specific Terms and Conditions for OS Maps Subscription new user giveaway 2026

These Terms 

  1. These terms and conditions are the Specific Terms which apply to this prize draw promotion (the ‘Prize Draw’).  
  1. These terms apply in additional to the General Terms and you should read these Specific Terms together with the General Terms, which can be found on the OS website: General Terms and Conditions for Prize Draws (ordnancesurvey.co.uk). If any provisions in these Specific Terms conflict with the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.  
  1. By entering this Prize Draw, you accept that you will be bound by these Specific Terms and the General Terms. 

The Prize Draw 

  1. OS is running the Prize Draw (the ‘Promoter’). You can find out more details about the Promoter below. 
  1. There will be twelve winners in total, who will each receive the prize as stated below: 
  1. A 5-year OS Maps Subscription. 
     
  1. The opening date for the Prize Draw is 9:00am on 1 August 2026 and the closing date for the Prize Draw is midnight on 31 July 2027.  
    A winner will be chosen at the end of each month from August 2026until July 2027. Entries received after 31 July 2027 will not be counted. 
  1. One winner will be chosen on the last day of each month by OS by random draw from all the valid entries, starting from the 31 August 2026. Entrants who enter in one month and do not win are still eligible for draws in later months up until the closing date. 

Entry 

  1. To enter, you must: 
    Create an account on OS Maps app and using the opt-in boxes, opt-in to Ordnance Survey marketing, and you will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw. 
  1. This prize draw is open to new OS Maps account holders only.  
  1. The Prize Draw is limited to one entry per person. 

Winning 

  1. The winners will be notified by email if they have won, within 7 days of a draw taking place.  
     
  1. The Promoter will automatically apply the 5-year OS Maps subscription to the winners’ OS Maps account within 30 days of the winner being notified.   
  1. Use of the OS Maps services is subject to separate terms and conditions. These can be found at:  www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/legal/os-maps-terms. 

Personal Data  

  1. Where you have indicated your consent to receiving communications from the Promoter about their offers, products, special offers, promotions and services: 
  1. your email address will be added to their electronic mailing lists accordingly; 
  1. any personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 and associated laws; 
  1. the way in which your data will be processed by OS will be in accordance with OS’ Privacy Policy; 
  1. see also Condition 31 of the General Terms with regard to the announcement of winners; 
  1. if you do not wish the use of your details for marketing purposes to continue at any time, you can select the unsubscribe option in the emails that are sent to you.
