castle!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A walk to the impressive Alport Castles with its towers of rocks almost precariously standing tall in the valley. The name &#8220;castles&#8221; comes from the debris from a landslide, which has produced several gritstone mounds that tower over the valley and appear from the distance to look like castles. class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Head down from the top towards Alport Castle the reservoir and follow the road back to Fairholmes, there\u2019s plenty of great views of the reservoir and surrounding
