It\u2019s not a textbook, so if you\u2019re looking for dates, measurements, and archaeological theory, this isn\u2019t the book for you. There\u2019s a sense of wonder, but it\u2019s never overdone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The emotional core of the book is strong. Fiona writes about Stephen with honesty and care. Her children appear too, adding warmth. The stones become symbols of endurance.
