East Meon is home of All Saints Church with its beautiful 13<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;century spire. To see the valley from a different angle walk up to the iron-age hill fort and bronze age cemetery at Old Winchester Hill. Two long distance paths run through the town \u2013 the Shipwrights Way and. Discover the area\u2019s industrial heritage at Amberley Museum, delve back in time at Arundel Castle or spot water voles and wild fowl at Arundel Wetlands Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Find places to stay at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arundel.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Visit Arundel<\/a>\u00a0or if you\u2019re feeling adventurous spend a night off-grid at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/slindon-estate\/features\/slindon-estate-has-a-converted-barn-and-campsite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Trust\u2019s Gumber Bothy<\/a>. The Norman castle sits at the heart of the town, or walk in the footsteps of medieval monks in the priory ruins. You can take a walk to see the enigmatic Long Man of Wilmington a hillside giant whose origins are lost in the mists of time.
